Disney Rides Worldwide Ranked | Top 50
Greetings! Me and my wife have a long history with the Disney parks of the world. Between us getting engaged at Tokyo DisneySea, her previously being a cast member at Anaheim, and living and working on the West Coast the last several years in and between different technologies. Now, we have visited all 12 Disney parks in the world and we’re going to rank our top 50 rides across all of them! These are of the primary park rides and experiences ridden by us across Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, Anaheim Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney Studios Paris, Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom.* The parks were visited in total between 2023 and 2026. We should note too that our home is in So-Cal, so we’ve seen Anaheim more repeatedly! Some rides are naturally grouped together from their strong similarities to each other across the globe. Some rides with the same property or name might be separated from just how different in scope they are! Lastly, there is a focus on rides over draws such as character meets or shows. With all that known, there is also an effort to pick from the more unique offering across all the parks. * Not included is Venetian Gondolas from Tokyo DisneySea for subjective reasons.
This metric of qualities is used on a scale of 1-5 per quality that helps situate the rankings: Presentation, Immersion, Excitement, and Innovation. Presentation: The audiovisual and narrative aspect of the ride. Immersion: How much does the ride make you feel in a different place? Excitement: Measuring level of thrill or engagement with surroundings based on type of ride. Innovation: How far the technical aspects of the ride are pushed and how much does it drive the ride’s success. The accompanying images below, per entry, were taken on actual park location on ride itself, by the ride, or the surrounding area.
