CHEnd
Exhibitions and Featured Project of D6 Studio Art Residency [Newcastle upon Tyne, UK]
Programming, virtual reality, artwork, animation, vocals, game design, illustration, comic, & more.

This work was first developed as an interactive virtual reality game and narrative. In the animated short, it took the form of a 3D animation or 'machinima' for storytelling purposes as a more digestible viewing. Assets, environments, character models, coding, cameras, and animations used to build the game were dug into and re configured; along with bonus visuals which were added in addition to existing assets for visual and coherent effect. CHEnd marks the tragic tale and end of Chevy the Cosmic : a forgotten star of the arcade boom age. In the solitude of the last remaining Chevy the Cosmic arcade machine, he gathers his thoughts and memories waiting for the end. However, as he is marooned in the IT closet of an economically decrepit mall, soon to be demolished, Chevy decides he's not ready to leave this world just yet. His escape is into the frozen flames of Crossroads Outlet Mall... where in each of the stores, he discovers a moment to behold before passing away.

LEGO AR WORLDS
Various Tech Demos and Presentations Throughout Conferences & Exhibitions [New York City, USA+]
Utilizing innovative, volumetric displays, art, animation, installation, programming.

In a series of AR works infusing classic toys, 3D holographic displays, and gamified coding, artwork, and animation, individual Lego worlds were brought to life through the capability of floating image technology [LKG]. Projects a properties extend from the range of hackathon AR worlds to worlds involving Star Wars. They are a creative combination of mirroring 1:1 to physical environment and masking physical objects out with the digital environment.

I WONDER
WIP Webcomic Narrative from Author Emerging from Nickelodeon Pitch [New York City, USA]
Story, concept, writing, artwork, digitization, and more.

A webcomic pitch which initially emerged out of a Nickelodeon Intergalactic Shorts Program pitch. "A child listens to his mission log. "I will save the world." But the world was violent. A passionless sportman from the future discovers the memories of the lost Wonder. It might not be too late.

I, Wonder is an original narrative in illustration technique and content which tells the story of minor leaguer J.D. Mays and the little league player's ghost as both team to battle, in their own imaginative way, a world coming to grips with escalating conditions. Old Town is a world full of denizens from and lost to the past. Better days buried then. The sweet faces of the imaginative people juxtaposed by an ominous wave of reality. Age is a little more than a number. Yet, until the child inside dies, no number is up.

ANIMATION
Various Exhibitions and Short Film Jury Awards [Los Angeles, USA+]
Self-driven traditional art, digital art, sculpting, rigging, color, keyed animation, rendering, & story.

The following represents a variety of aesthetically powered works in the realm of motion and narrative driven animation and how they correlate with my technical foundation possessed in interactivity, engineering, and new media. These works, in addition to representing a breadth of skill, also represent strength of conceptual vision, ideas, visual acuity, and ability visualize a thought from mind while leveraging new technology and industry level software.

MOTION CAPTURE / KMFM
Explorations, Technical Approaches, and Professional Level Practice with Motion Capture [Los Angeles, USA]
Interfacing with tech, programming, performance, experimentation, innovation, art, design, and more.

The following represents a variety of innovative and industry level skill sets as they correlate with motion capture technologies. This spans the cross sections between independently driven computer vision body tracking and UDP broadcasting to game engine, realizing works on the side of cutting edge venues for public display, and working with high-performance, professional grade equipment such as ILM (Industrial Light & Magic) Technoprops' Head Mounted Camera. Below is a still from the ILM sessions and an exterior shot of the Sphere in Vegas where the content was generated by a suit and tech procured through approval of a mocap-based tech demo I developed.
Further below is a sample clip from a first live test of a mocap project entitled "KMFM" where a performance of karaoke is augmented by a tandem of motion tracking, open cv, game software, artwork, and sound recognition to bring the immersion of the performance and the party to deeper depths.

SPHERE
(Special installation taking place in live venue.) [Las Vegas, USA]
Programming, mocap, animation, on-site development & testing, more.

A special to-be-revealed set of projects taking place at Sphere spanning different IP and technology which I supplied talents in terms of art, engineering, concepting, and more. The work is a culmination of nearly 5 years of development where-in I made an additional plethora of internal tools, artworks, hardware, motion, animatics, inventions, and much more. These technologies are related to, but also adjacent to, interactivity in terms of games, virtual production, and new media.
